Predictive Maintenance PDF Print E-mail

Predictive maintenance is about getting optimum performance out of your equipment. It's a look into the future that tells you when maintenance activity is most cost-effective. The result is you reduce your maintenance costs, improve up-time, while you support your production goals. Our number one objective is to ensure that you have the best possible information available about your equipment - information that will keep your maintenance costs low and your operation running smoothly.

Our predictive maintenance includes the following:

  • Vibration Monitoring & Analysis can reveal early problems in rotating equipment such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing problems and other potential issues.
  • Thermography measurements and analysis can identify heat problems before they shut down your line. Electric panels, substations, purgers, rotary equipment and other components are monitored and measured.
  • Ultrasonic Testing will detect possible air leaks, faulty steam traps, bad electrical connections and bearing problems. We use the latest equipment on the market and locate leaks as small as .005 inch in diameter.
  • Motor Efficiency Testing is it good or bad? How long will it last? We perform on-site tests with your motors in place, including polarization index testing, surge testing and the DC hipot test which checks the integrity of the insulation.
  • Oil Analysis or lubrication of your key equipment is an important factor in forecasting uptime and reliability. We have a full spectrum of techniques and tests designed to protect your equipment.
  • Motor Circuit Evaluation checks the circuit apparatus and the starter circuit. We also check for insulation leakage and monitor phase sequence, making sure your circuits are in working order.
  • Current Analysis Trending let's us determine the health of incoming windings, stators, rotors , bearings, couplings and more. In turn, we evaluate the electrical and mechanical condition of the motor.
